Big Bear Camp, located on the shores of Horwood Lake, is a family-operated business that has been drawing anglers from around across North America who come in pursuit of catching trophy walleye and Northern pike. Founded by Paul & Angie in 1961, Big Bear Camp has a longstanding tradition of hospitality, serving as the home base for a fishing trip of a lifetime! A tradition which is now carrying into the second generation as Paul & Angie’s daughter Ashley and her husband Ben now also help to run the camp and meet the needs of their guests.

At Big Bear Camp we offer cabins with views of the water that can accommodate parties from 2 people all the way up to 9. All of our cabins have running water, electricity, and are fully stocked with everything you need. Or if you’re travelling with a trailer, we have spots you can reserve in our spacious campground.
